GETTING HERE:
You must book a water and land taxi at least a few days before you arrive. The land taxi will meet you on the Savary dock. Pack as light and as compact as you can, preferably most things in Rubbermaids. Upon booking the water/land taxi inquire about their limits - there is an extra charge for lots of luggage! ( ie: $5 per bike). Contact info below.
New option! Vancity Seaplanes will pick you up in Vancouver and fly you to the beach on Savary. approx. 35 minute flight $150 per person each way and completely worth it! No ferry lineups and FAST! 2 people minimum booking. We will pick you up on the beach!

DIRECTIONS:
From Vancouver:
Take the Horseshoe Bay ferry to Langdale, drive north on Highway 101 to Earl's Cove.
Take the ferry from Earl's Cove to Saltery Bay and drive north through Powell River to Lund (town at end of highway 101)
Note: You only pay once to ride the two ferries up the Sunshine Coast
From Victoria
Take the Comox (Little River) ferry to Powell River and then drive north on Highway 101 to Lund
Lund Water Taxi
To reach Savary Island itself you must take a water taxi from Lund, which is located 24 miles north of Powell River.
The Lund Water Taxi operates year round and provides daily transportation to Savary Island. Reservations are highly recommended, and best made a day prior to travel.
